World Map — Stoneholm
The single island that is the battlefield of Gloria Victis.
Gloria Victis plays out on a single contested island, Stoneholm, set in a low-fantasy parallel to 10th-15th century Europe. There is no instancing — the whole map is one shared, full-loot PvP world the three nations fight over without pause. Knowing the territory is half the battle: where it's safe, where it isn't, and which holdings are worth sieging.
The three nations' territories
Territory-control zones
The map breaks into three kinds of ground. Safe nation cores — the starter towns and their forts — can't be sieged and shelter new players. The contested middle of the island holds the prize: capturable castles, forts and high-level temples that change hands by siege, and partial-loot rules where you can grab a defeated enemy's gear against a ticking clock. A few bandit points of interest sit outside the nation system entirely. Of the 24 holdings, most of the central ones are Contested.
