STR · CON · DEX — the three pillars of every build.

No Classes — Three Attributes

Gloria Victis has no class system. Every character is built from three attributes, a pool of weapon skills and a passive-skill (perk) tree. You distribute attribute points as you level, and that three-way split between Strength, Constitution and Dexterity is the core build decision. Because combat is directional and skill-based, gear and stats matter — but timing and aim matter more.

Weapon Skills & Perks

Two Layers Beyond Attributes

Weapon skills — each weapon family (sword, axe, spear, bow, dagger and so on) levels independently as you use it; investing makes you stronger with that weapon type.

Passive perk tree — a long list of perks leveled with points, including Marksman, Athlete, Breath Control, Veteran, Bullseye, Sting, Man of Steel, Evade, Shieldman, Strongman, Shield Bash and Reaper. Builds are largely defined by which passives you choose to max.

Stats FAQ

Does Gloria Victis have a class system?
No. There are no classes. Your character is defined by three attributes (Strength, Constitution, Dexterity), a pool of weapon skills, and a passive-skill (perk) tree. You choose a path by where you sink points, not by a class pick at creation.
What does each attribute do?
Strength raises melee damage (mace, hammer, spear, axe, sword), builds your stamina pool and protects against slashing. Constitution raises HP and damage reduction for survivability. Dexterity directly powers your bow / ranged damage.
What is the best stat priority?
It depends on your goal: melee DPS goes Strength-heavy; survivability and frontline tanking goes Constitution-heavy; ranged goes Dexterity-heavy. One caution for archers — don't dump Strength to the floor, or you stay very vulnerable to slashing attacks in light armour.
How do weapon skills and perks fit in?
Beyond attributes there are two layers: each weapon family (sword, axe, spear, bow, dagger, etc.) levels independently with use, and a long passive perk tree (Marksman, Athlete, Man of Steel, Evade, Shield Bash, Reaper and more) that you max selectively. Which passives you max is what really defines a build.
Are the stat numbers on this page exact?
No — the sample spreads are indicative reference builds from the pre-relaunch client and are there to show the system, not exact live figures. The attribute / skill / perk framework is unchanged at the 2026 relaunch, but verify precise numbers against the live V1.5.0 client or the in-game character builder.
