Gloria Victis Updates & Roadmap

From the original shutdown to the 2026 free-to-play comeback — and what's planned next.

Where things stand: after the original Gloria Victis shut down around 2023, gamigo acquired the full license and relaunched the game free-to-play on Steam as "Season of the Phoenix" (build V1.5.0) on June 17, 2026, following a "Medieval Fest" open beta. The relaunch was a fresh wipe — no carryover from the old game or the beta — though premium skin owners can reclaim their skins.
